A lincoln with history

I recently had the pleasure of seeing this machine again. This is the welder that my Dad and all my Uncles learned to weld on in the early 70's! My Uncle Charlie still has it in his shop. It originally came out of the Union Hall Apprentice School where they all spent some time learning to weld and my Grandpa Cotton was the President.
What a beautiful machine. I hope to be able to use this image, or a slightly modified version in one of my graphics for Iron Root Industry Wear. A line of clothing with artfully designed graphics for the fellow welders of the world, whether they be pipliners, fitter, fabricators, blacksmiths or artists. We manifest our work in different ways but we all share a common thread: the process.
